Most people associate Baklava as the only Greek dessert however Greeks have a big repertoire of desserts to select from. This includes Kataifi. Kataifi is originally from the Middle East although Greeks have adapted this dessert to suit their own tastes. I have to say that each version of this dessert is tasty. I will show you how to make the Greek type ~ its tasty, sweet and will leave you asking for more. What else would you want from a dessert (other than fewer calories.. lol)
So what is Kataifi ~ its actually threaded filo sheets with nuts and syrup. Very sweet, crunchy and delicious.
